Intel's New Atom to Launch in September

With a success of Atom processor (can we say it's a succes?), a new product based on Atom is inevitable. The next stop for Atom is the dual core Atom 330 desktop processor. Like Atom 230, it's fabricated using 45nm technology and will incorporated Hyper Threading. So the new Atom 330 will appear to have four cores within the OS.
According to Register Hardware, the new Atom will be soldered onto Intel's upcoming 945GX-based D945GCFL2 motherboard that support up to 2GB of DDR2 memory.
